Freedom’s Never Free wants every veteran, family member, and visitor to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities and people using assistive technology.
What we do
- We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
- Images include text descriptions for screen readers.
- A “Skip to content” link lets keyboard users go straight to the main content.
- Links that open another website tell screen reader users they are leaving this site.
- Slideshows can be controlled by keyboard, and motion is reduced for visitors who turn on reduced motion.
- The site works on phones, tablets, and computers, and supports zooming.
